Just as Theseus unified Athens under one king, the Tsakiridis Theseus brings multiple audio functions together in one remarkably versatile integrated tube amplifier.

At the heart of the design is a pure Class A single-ended output stage that allows the user to experiment with a wide range of pentode power tubes. Depending on configuration and compatible tube type, Theseus gives the listener the freedom to explore different tonal characters and power levels.

Triode or pentode / ultralinear operation can be selected via switch, while feedback settings can also be adjusted to fine-tune the amplifier’s behaviour according to loudspeaker matching and personal preference.

Theseus provides three line-level inputs, one MM phono input with tube RIAA equalization, one USB digital input and a dedicated transformer-coupled headphone output.

A motorized Blue Alps volume control and remote operation complete an amplifier designed to combine traditional valve sound with everyday convenience.

Single-Ended Class A Design

The Tsakiridis Theseus operates in pure Class A using a single-ended output stage. This topology is valued for its direct signal path, tonal richness and natural harmonic presentation.

Remote-Controlled Operation

The Tsakiridis Theseus Ultima is designed as a complete Class A integrated amplifier for listeners who value both purity and convenience.

It provides an MM tube phono stage, three line-level inputs and a USB DAC, allowing analogue and digital sources to coexist in one system.

Gold-plated RCA connectors are used for signal connections, while high-quality loudspeaker terminals provide secure speaker connection.

A motorized Blue Alps volume control works together with the supplied aluminium remote, providing control over volume, input selection and mute.

Premium Internal Construction

Carefully selected electronic components contribute to reliable circuit operation and high sound quality.

Metal-film resistors and Mundorf EVO Silver Gold Oil signal capacitors are used in Theseus Ultima, while the meticulous PCB layout is designed to achieve excellent performance in signal-to-noise ratio, distortion and channel separation.

Internal signal wiring uses high-quality shielded cable. Power wiring uses generous-gauge copper conductors to maintain low impedance, while power cables are twisted in pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference.

Handmade 16-Layer Output Transformers

The handmade 16-layer output transformers are a key element of the Theseus Ultima design.

High-quality copper wire and carefully selected core material allow the amplifier to reproduce fine musical detail, soundstage information and tonal structure across the audible spectrum.

The same attention is applied to the power transformer and chokes. Transformer and choke positioning is carefully chosen to minimize magnetic coupling between the power supply and output stages.

All transformers are manufactured and thoroughly tested by Tsakiridis Devices for quality and long-term reliability.
