With push – pull configuration in class AB1, it provides enough power to drive low sensitivity speakers.
The Tsakiridis Aeolos is the best-selling integrated amplifier family from Tsakiridis Devices, combining classic vacuum-tube architecture, handcrafted transformers and practical everyday operation in a compact design.
Built around a push-pull Class AB1 topology and dual-mono power supply, the Aeolos range is available in four versions: Aeolos, Aeolos Plus, Aeolos Ultra and Aeolos Ultima. Output power ranges from 2 × 35W to 2 × 70W, allowing the amplifier to match a wide variety of loudspeakers and systems.
Push-Pull Class AB1 Design
Every Aeolos version uses two power tubes per channel in a push-pull Class AB1 configuration. This topology combines the tonal qualities of vacuum-tube amplification with sufficient output power and control for real-world loudspeaker systems.
A dual-mono power supply helps maintain strong channel separation, while carefully positioned power and output transformers reduce unwanted magnetic interaction.
Handmade Transformers and Premium Construction
Transformer design is central to the Tsakiridis Aeolos family. Tsakiridis Devices manufactures and tests its transformers in-house, with each version using carefully selected components and increasingly sophisticated output transformer designs.
The standard, Plus and Ultra models use handmade multilayer output transformers, while the flagship Ultima moves to 16-layer output transformers using 6N copper and a high-quality core.
Internal signal wiring uses high-quality shielded cable, while power wiring uses heavy-gauge copper conductors to maintain low resistance and reduce unwanted electromagnetic interaction.
Careful component selection, robust power-supply construction and hand assembly are key parts of the Aeolos design philosophy.
Four Aeolos Versions
Aeolos – 2 × 35W
The standard Tsakiridis Aeolos uses four EL34 output tubes and four 12AT7 driver tubes, delivering 2 × 35W.
It includes four line-level inputs, one pre output, motorized Blue Alps volume control, gold-plated RCA connectors, remote control and handmade output transformers.
Aeolos Plus – 2 × 45W
Aeolos Plus increases output power to 2 × 45W and uses four 6550 power tubes.

Aeolos Ultra – 2 × 70W
Aeolos Ultra moves to four KT150 output tubes and delivers 2 × 70W.
It also introduces upgraded signal-path components and premium loudspeaker terminals for higher-power systems.
The Aeolos Ultima is the most ambitious version of the range. It retains the KT150-based 2 × 70W output stage but adds premium signal-path parts and Tsakiridis’ top 16-layer output transformers.
The Tsakiridis Aeolos is designed as a complete integrated amplifier, allowing direct connection of analogue source components without the need for a separate preamplifier.
The supplied aluminium remote control provides convenient access to volume adjustment, input selection, mute and power-tube bias functions from the listening position.
Combined with the motorized Blue Alps volume control, the remote system adds modern everyday convenience while preserving the amplifier’s traditional all-tube signal architecture.
Rear Panel and System Connectivity
The rear panel provides four line-level inputs, a preamplifier output and high-quality loudspeaker terminals. This allows Aeolos to function as the central analogue amplifier in a complete high-end audio system.
