The discrete Class AB power amplifier stage delivers 100 W per channel into 8 ohms, with enough current to drive even difficult loads. The output stage of the discrete power amplifier circuits uses a quasi-complementary topology, ensuring superior linearity and excellent thermal stability, as the quiescent current is kept independent of the temperature of the output transistors. A robust 300 VA toroidal transformer, followed by four 10,000 µF electrolytic capacitors, helps the amplifier maintain consistent control of the music while enabling excellent dynamic range. Definitely a top-class amplifier in terms of performance.
