Tellurium Q Black II USB Cable
370,00 €
With the Tellurium Q USB cable, digital music – even Apple lossless – sounds dynamic and natural, quite analogue. As compared to other USB cables I’ve tried, there’s one obvious difference: it appears to play music louder!

The cable length is 1 meter.

“I was impressed by the way the Tellurium Q cables seemed to approach transients (both leading and trailing edge) and cohere the sound of the music temporally. Although I am not sure how a digital cable can influence the timing of a musical signal, it’s clear through audition that the Tellurium Q cables do just that.”

“greater clarity, a more natural presentation, a more open yet defined sound image, improved tonal qualities and, taking a few steps back, a more engaging musical experience.”

“Increased resolution in the upper range, the sound became strikingly, the space gained volume and depth of feeling disappeared mechanistic. It is comfortable, without the characteristic roughness play files 44/16. The effect of auto-suggestion? Again, I turn on the “standard” cable, and listen no longer want – the difference is too obvious.”

“…what this is telling me is that Tellurium Q is a wonderful brand to buy your cable from. If I was starting out now and was looking to buy all the cables for my system, I think I would just shop at Tellurium Q and be done with it.
What I am seeing is their attention to detail in crafting their cables, whatever sort of cable it is, consistently results, at least in the Black II series, [the entry level and the only Tellurium Q cables the reviewer had so far tested] … all their cables have a consistency to them which is that they are delivering a sense of space, a sense of soundstage size, image focus and what I mean by that is that they are getting out of the way of the music and allowing the music to shine through. That allows individual sounds to pop out to you, to really enhance the listening experience… so I am a huge fan of what I have heard .. and based on what I have heard and seen here, very affordable for what you are getting in terms of performance”

“The Black II came to remedy these limitations with greater authority in terms of presentation, giving the image more definition and instrument separation. I also noticed a particular improvement in the low-frequency spectrum, which benefited from greater definition and control. It’s a great cable, I’d rate it very highly on the scale of those I’ve tried.”

Tellurium Q Cable Families
Blue Family
Warm and forgiving for systems with a slight edge or for those who like a more smooth laid back presentation. Blue and Ultra Blue are especially good for AV and home cinema.
Black Family
Smooth, fine detailed and great resolution while actually reducing apparent harshness. Music is presented as a coherent, organic whole, with a jaw-dropping sense of realism and naturalness.
Silver Family
Totally uncoloured, acting as a wide open channel sounding unforced, vivid and dynamic with phenomenal resolution, transparency and natural tonal colours. All this while sounding extremely analog and coherent, from the exceptional top end extension to bottom with finely detailed, separated bass notes.
