Description
QVATTVOR Symmetrical Balanced Step-Up Transformer
Today, when balanced circuits have become the de facto standard for high-end audio design, we are proud to present our vision of transformer amplification for MC cartridges.
Based on our years of experience with vintage transformers, we have applied all our knowledge to create a fully balanced MC Step-Up transformer to work with classic and modern high-quality cartridges.
Matched pair of Tamura Super permalloy core transformers is used for each channel in fully balanced topology.
Transformers which has both ultra-wide band and ultra-small distortion with the possibility of connecting cartridges with an impedance of 0-3 and 40 Ohms.
Traditional Tamura sound in true balanced design with modern shielding and damping technology brings a new level of ultra-low noise and high resolution.
QVATTVOR Features
Two Super Permalloy core transformers (specially manufactured by Tamura Corp.) is used for each channel
The custom-made aluminum/copper case equipped with highly efficient internal damping materials
Stainless-steel non-magnetic screws to minimize the influence of the magnetic distortion; thereby the clear sound has been realized
LC-OFC is used for the wiring material
High quality Neutrik XLR and Gold-plated brass RCA connectors with Teflon insulation
fonolab. MC step-up transformer has been carefully designed and manufactured in the Czech Republic to satisfy the highest interrogates for musicality.
QVATTVOR is available in several versions to bring your system to its full potential.
QVATTVOR MODELS
QVATTVOR Classic Step-Up Transformer
Featuring fully balanced circuitry, the QVATTVOR Classic also features an unbalanced output for easy connection to any phono stage.
QVATTVOR 4×4 Reference MC Step-Up Transformer
The QVATTVOR Reference model is designed for true purists, the shortest signal path without the use of any switches.
Balanced signal of each channel amplified by two matched isolated transformers. To obtain an ideal result, transformers are selected by a quartet.
A wider frequency range of 10Hz-120kHz and a very low distortion of less than 0.05% in the range of 20Hz-20kHz at 1mV input are accomplished.
QVATTVOR 2° Step-Up Transformer with the ability to customize connection options and settings
Featuring advanced switching capabilities while maintaining a fully balanced circuitry. Ability to connect two independent sources with load selection from the front panel. Additional features include a Mono / Stereo switch, Subsonic filter, and more.
The transformer is equipped with a demagnetization function.
The Demagnetizer buttons demagnetizes the cartridge and the step-up transformer.
Please push both buttons simultaneously and hold them for ten seconds while listening to music from the record. As long as you press the buttons, the music stops. A cartridge and a transformer are demagnetized by the interchange signal of the LP.
A sound is slightly cleared by demagnetizing it. Please use demagnetization every several months. Because this demagnetization method does not add electricity, the cartridge is safe.
