The PS Audio PerfectWave DAC II is a true high-end digital-to-analog converter, designed with uncompromising attention to component selection and build quality. From its premium internal parts to its meticulous assembly, this DAC delivers an exceptionally accurate and musical sound reproduction.

The PerfectWave DAC II features the highly regarded Wolfson WM8741 DAC chip, supporting 24-bit / 192 kHz resolution. High-grade power supply capacitors and audiophile resistors ensure transparent and distortion-free digital signal processing. An asynchronous clock effectively eliminates jitter, while users can choose between native playback or apply upsampling across six selectable sample rates.
Five different digital filters are available, each offering a distinct sonic character to suit individual listening preferences.

Connectivity is equally impressive. In addition to standard digital inputs (optical, coaxial, and USB for computer connection), the DAC includes professional-grade connections such as a balanced AES/EBU XLR input and two HDMI I2S inputs. Analog output is available via both RCA and XLR connections.

For everyday usability, the PerfectWave DAC II is equipped with a color touchscreen display, providing intuitive control and excellent user comfort. Remote operation is also possible via a dedicated iPod / iPhone / iPad application.
With the optional PerfectWave Bridge Ethernet controller installed, ( is including ) the DAC can function as a full-featured network audio player, compatible with applications such as BubbleUPnP.
