Magnetic Motor
The heart of the speaker is the magnetic motor. For our 8-inch speakers, we designed a motor powered by both ferrite and neodymium magnets. This hybrid magnet system and unique pole piece geometry create motors with a magnetic field strength of 1.9 Tesla. The magnetic gap height is 9 mm, allowing for a completely underhung voice coil design. This design maintains uniform field strength along the gap height, optimizing raw power, linearity, and reducing distortions. All magnetic motor components are manufactured using CNC lathes with 0.01 mm tolerance.
Our magnetic motors are further enhanced by the most advanced Faraday Ring system ever used in 8-inch speakers. This system eliminates eddy currents, reduces voice coil inductance, increases cut-off frequency, and minimizes distortions. We experimented with various materials and found the optimal combination of aluminium, brass, and copper.
The Spider
The “spider” or lower suspension is a unique solution developed in-house. Traditional spiders absorb energy, making the speaker sound weak and dull. Our spider, designed to behave like a spring, does not absorb energy but instead positions the voice coil in the magnetic gap. Each spider is precisely CNC-milled, and our custom device measures compliance. This technology provides superior performance compared to classical resin-soaked cloth spiders.
Cones and Coatings
The cones are made of paper, which, after extensive testing, proved to be the best material. We developed a lightweight organic resin coating that penetrates and seals the paper, preventing moisture absorption and preserving high-frequency clarity over time.
Connecting the Dots
Thanks to our developed technologies, we control speaker behavior, sound character, frequency response, and Thiele-Small parameters. We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of fullrange speaker concepts. All our speakers, cones, and voice coils are made and manually assembled in Poland, with each speaker tested for 24 hours before shipment to ensure the highest quality.
