The X1.6 delivers performance not seen before in this class. It’s the first time that Raidho offers a 6.5″ in this form factor and at this price. And the result is exceptional.

The Legendary Raidho Ribbon Tweeter

The Raidho X1.6 is proudly equipped with a Ribbon tweeter known for its extraordinary clarity and accurate reproduction of the music. This tweeter technology uses a thin foil without a traditional voice coil, resulting in minimal mass and resonance-free performance. The ribbon tweeter in the Raidho X1.6 is constructed with a thickness of 11 microns and delivers unprecedented clarity and naturalness in the highest frequency ranges. The incredibly open and transparent sound is only possible thanks to the unique ribbon treble.

The proprietary, trademark ribbon tweeter is a unique design. It is completely designed and build by hand in-house in Denmark. To be exact, it is a Planar Magnetic Tweeter due to the tracks in the foil. The foil is 11 micron thick, which means it is 50 times less mass in comparison to a conventional dome tweeter. This is because there is no voice coil and the extreme low weight of the foil (20 milligram). The result is virtually no resonances or distortion, and the breakup point is at an incredible 82 KHz! What you hear is amazing clear and natural sound. All the detail in the world, but no fatigue, no distortion, and no coloration!

Powerful and precise bass response

The Raidho X1.6 is equipped with a 6.5″ Ceramix base unit that utilizes Raidho’s advanced Ceramix technology. This technology combines a thin aluminum cone with a high-voltage treatment that transforms the exterior into a ceramic surface. The result is a base unit that is extremely rigid, well-damped and delivers a deep, precise and well-defined bass response, Ceramix technology ensures excellent control and definition in the bass range, completing the overall sound experience.

Solid construction and vibration dampening design

The Raidho X1.6 is built with a focus on minimizing vibration and resonance disturbances that can affect the sound quality. The massive front plate made of cast aluminum with a thickness of 20 mm acts as a solid and stable base for the internal components. This helps to minimize unwanted resonance and distortion, ensuring a clean, precise and detailed sound reproduction.
