About Chameleon Audio
Showing our true love for “this kind of sound” through our experience…
Having been in the woodworking business for 20 years, you learn about the properties of wood, its aging process, and its durability.
When you’ve been in sound engineering and High-Fidelity reproduction for 25 years, you can claim considerable expertise. When music has been in your DNA since an early age, the formula for success is infallible.
I believe these qualifications are sufficient if you aim to construct the finest sound systems. Our goal has always been to display music’s perfection through reproduction means, rendering it clear of any kind of vibration that can distort the standards music stands for and is obliged to serve exceedingly in sound reproduction. Unfortunately, our sound systems never managed to deliver maximum performance.
For two decades, we have been testing equipment racks, using all the materials available on the market, but the result was always something lacking that unique, natural, effortless, and real emotion—like the experience of a concert hall, a street musician whose sound is unrestricted by walls, or a piano in our living room, where the sound surrounds, envelops, and touches us.
It’s the kind of sound that makes us close our eyes and journey with it, or stomp our feet to the rhythm and feel all its pace and intensity. This is the kind of sound we have always wanted: the real sound, the effortless sound.
After six years of studying exotic wood, we finally found what we have always aimed for. Ebony and other exotic woods are our prime materials for the best results. We always choose the finest, where time has grown them ripe and ready to be processed. Our entire construction is hand-crafted with solid wood, and our materials are mortised with press-fit technology. The dye is also hand-made, done with waxes and oils that leave the material unaffected, allowing it to work naturally.
Another material, which we believed from the beginning could succeed best for vibration damping, is graphite. Our inspiration came from the creations of Yamamura, with the fantastic graphite turntable and graphite base. Graphite can be found in the market in many forms and varieties. For nearly three years, we listened to our reference system with 52 different varieties and treatments of graphite. The differences in quality and treatment are vast and complex. After continuous listening, we understood the golden section and chose our criteria.
“I challenge you to try our products and compare them with any other similar product you can get your hands on. Believe me, you will achieve this kind of prestigious sound only with Chameleon Audio’s products, offered at the correct prices. It sounds self-assured, but it is the truth most of the time.”

With great pleasure I welcome you to my wonderful world
My Reference System
The preparation and quest for this system go back many years. My desire was to acquire the unique and collectible speakers from Jadis. The company created only 50 pieces worldwide without any cost limitations.
Of course, it was not only their collectibility that made me desire them, but also their construction convinced me from the first moment that they were something unique. These speakers feature a 4-way driver system, horn type, with an isobaric chamber for low frequencies.
The responsibility to drive this kind of speaker demands the best amplification. The best solution was a custom-ordered amplifier, single-ended, with a 3-stage topology, and exotic transformers featuring double C-core and quadruple C-core designs.
Separate power supplies in all stages, double choke, exotic resistors, paper-in-oil capacitors, and a custom-made Corian chassis.
Two years of intensive listening and work, I believe, are enough to create something exceptional.
Here is the updated Verdier, enhanced in every aspect, with a Miyabi 47 cartridge, exotic bearing oils, an ebony arm-board, a graphite flywheel, and a special power supply.
